The SEVENS saga

We, the rural people of kerala are very much intrested in conducting football mathces locally. Here you can see a live match conducted by one of the local clubs of our area. This is no usual football they call it "sevens", and obviously each team consisting of 7 players instead of usual 11 players. These matches add spice to the rural folk's life. They find never before entertainement opertunity virtualy at no cost and it's a stage for the native plyers and football lovers to show their mettle. They spice up the evening with whistling sounds and a thick atmosphere is often full of ardent supporters of each team. Sometimes they get a bit over zealous and would end up in clashes between groups, but that won't cause mcuh damage to their intrest in this noble sport. Another important feature of this Sevens is that they attract every body including supersenier citizen to a small boy of 5 or 6. They sit togather and enjoy cashew nut and other hotch potch prepared by local people, they often a eke out some money during this Sevens season.
