The Sree Kovil (The sacrosanct area) of Neerputhoor Siva Temple Arakkuparambu. There are not many temples who can boast of a Sree Kovil situating in water. This temple of historic value was built some 3000years ago. The Thachans (traditional architects) who designed the temple in this unique way so that the sree kovil is based in water, a phenomenal concept indeed!!!
